Gently position the clay into an oven safe bowl so that it droops down taking shape of the bowl.

Remove the bowl from the oven and allow to cool. Roll each color of clay that you want to use into a snake about 5 long. Once completely cool use a paint marker or small paint brush to color the rim of the dish then set aside to dry. Take the clay and place it in an oven safe bowl.
