The flying carpet mod for 1 5 2 adds magic carpets to the game. Rugs will be rolled up when placed on the ground. The first step will be to craft one and for this you need to find a hearth of the sea or a phial of animation which can be found in the structure chests defined by the config. The flying things mod 1 15 2 1 14 4 introduces enchanted brooms and magic carpets that can be ridden to fly over the world.

The broom can be colorized with any vanilla dye when the entity is in world by right clicking it with a dye and you can remove the color with a wet sponge the sponge won t be consumed.
