Maggot brain is the third studio album by the american funk band funkadelic released by westbound records in july 1971. Rock funk soul style. The sound quality is passable at best can be described as fuzzy perhaps this was how the original lp sounded. I also heard some noticeable noise reduction on the title track.

Bass response is very good and artwork is faithfully replicated on the sleeve and labels. Unfortunately this lp has so many pops crackles skips and general noise on it that my original been thru the ringer 1970s copy actually sounds better.
